PRESS SEC on U.S.-Iran negotiations: The Pakistanis have been incredible mediators and we really appreciate their friendship and efforts to bring this deal to a close.
The President feels it's important to continue to streamline this communication through the Pakistanis.
“I felt like I knew Pakistan, but you don't know Pakistan until you truly experience it. And it has been delightful. It has the best, highest quality, most superb-tasting food I have ever experienced at a media event in my entire career.”

One of the most painful parts of living in this country is watching people with so much brilliance slowly shrink their dreams to fit the limitations around them.
Yes! That's why Scream 6 also smashed records in 2023. Also, one more thing to note is Scream 6 was not released in premium large formats like IMAX, Dolby etc thus that's why the higher numbers of #Scream7. #melissabarrera#jennaortega
As someone deeply invested in Scream since 1996, I would guess a ton of the public going to see Scream 7 didn’t know anything about Melissa Barrera’s firing, just like I bet many didn’t know or care why Neve Campbell wasn’t in Scream VI. They just generally enjoy these movies.

my biggest respect goes to the people who have been fans of the scream franchise since the first movies and are still boycotting the new one. I love when hardcore fans care more about human lives than a joke of a movie like slop 7.

#FreePalestine protesters took to the streets outside Paramount Studios during the #Scream7 premiere, following #MelissaBarrera's previous removal from the project.
Per the organizers, the protest was meant to call “attention to the industry’s widespread silencing of pro-Palestinian voices and its whitewashing of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.”

As someone who has enjoyed every “Scream” film, SCREAM 7 was the first one to truly let me down from beginning (Justice for Melissa Barrera and #FreePalestine) to absurd, hollow end. The once clever tropes are now worn out, and while the brutal kills are staged well, they mean very little when they’re inflicted on characters we’re given little reason to care about. The messy story leans too heavily on nostalgia and the ultimate reveal is completely ridiculous and underwhelming. There’s also a missed opportunity to have any sort of meaningful commentary on the use of deepfakes and AI technology. To her credit, Neve Campbell delivers one of her best performances in the series and Isabel May certainly holds her own, but seven films in, I think it’s about time we let Sidney Prescott rest in peace and this once beloved franchise burn.
