The AfroCine Project aims to bridge the content gap about the historical and contemporary cinema, theatre, and arts of Africa, Caribbean & the diaspora.

Our goal was to create an additional 1,000 articles on Wikipedia during 2021 Months of African Cinema contest, but we ended up creating 4,000 articles instead. The AfroCine project has now successfully added approximately 10,000 articles to Wikipedia!
