Sherry's voice actress (Eden Riegel) gave her thoughts on why Leon and Sherry don't bring Claire up in RE9. Since Leon and Sherry already talk about Claire's status, they wouldn't discuss it needlessly as they had a life saving mission to focus on.

RE5 last quarter was at 19.01 million. RE6, the bottom "top performer" on the chart of sales sold 710,000 units. RE5 sold less than RE6, so it didn't appear on the chart. But even graciously assuming RE5 also sold 710k, it's not enough to have beaten RE:2, so RE:2 takes the crown

Resident Evil: 2 Remake officially is the top selling RE game presently.
Due to RE5 not making the chart here (under RE6 on the chart), RE:2 has finally outsold RE5 to be the top selling RE game of all time. RE:2 is at 19.75 million currently, RE5 is at 19.72 million maximum.

This means RE:4 has surpassed RE8 in sales officially. Capcom also notes that they beat their record for highest catalogue sales in a quarter, fueled almost exclusively by Resident Evil (though DMC5 is notable).
