Coming to the end of week 3 of my bootcamp. I’ll write a little update post soon, been so busy not had the chance to give regular updates

now it’s the weekend, and instead of resting I’ll be going back to my Uni module to try and wrap up the last question of my assignment and get started on revision for my exam

No rest for the wicked 😩

That basically wraps up week 1 of bootcamp for my apprenticeship. Aside from the password disaster this week, I’ve learnt a lot and met some amazing new people. My team of 4 have been an amazing help and I’m looking forward to the future

Day 4 of bootcamp - started working through the Python foundations of my bootcamp material, pretty straight forward at this rate because I’ve done most of this before however this was my first time working with Pytest. all in all a super productive day

Day 3 - so aside from the disaster which is my password I’ve had a productive day. Today I was learning all about Git and the basic Git commands. I also had to record a challenge of creating a directory and pushing it to GitHub

Day 3 - the issue still hasn’t resolved but I’ve reset my password (again) the help desk are investigating this issue but in the mean time I need to keep my laptop logged in at all times. I’ve made sure it all screensavers etc have been set to never so it wont log me out

Today has been a little all over the place so for some absolute crazy reason my laptop will not accept my correctly typed password even after I’ve reset it, it won’t recognise my password. I’ll have to email help desk tomorrow again because this is just not on

Spent the entire AM session trying to fix my password issue. For some reason even after resetting my password again it still does not recognise my password. So I’m stuck

Day 2:
I’m awake way too early. It’s currently 7.54 and I don’t start till 9.30. I am extremely exhausted with it being the last ten nights of Ramadhan. But I���ve got this. May as well get up, get ready and start my day a little earlier

An absolute disaster of a morning, and I’ve not even started my day. Had to change our laptop password yesterday and now I can’t seem to log back on 😩 so now I’m waiting for a response from the service desk

Today was intense and especially with fasting my head is killing 😩 need a good night sleep and then back to it tomorrow for Day 2

Day 1 PM session - this afternoon was all about HR induction with my employer and getting all the IT stuff sorted. Once that was over I started on the first module of the bootcamp work which is all about the command line and Git.

Good first day but now I am exhausted.

Day 1 of Bootcamp - AM Session consisted of -
- meeting the April Cohort Apprentices
- introductions and a little icebreaker
- working through the induction checklist
