Brazilian #corn exports have lost significant ground in more stable markets such as Japan and South Korea, becoming more dependent on the Middle East and North Africa. In 2025, the two regions accounted for 59% of all Brazilian shipments. Not exactly a good move.
All set for the 2025/26 #soybean planting kick-off in southern Goiás, #Brazil. Farmers plan on starting in ten days, right before the end of the sanitary fallow. They're just waiting for...rain! By Sep 11, Brazil had planted 0.12% of the intended area. https://t.co/f4QybREPYJ.
I am so excited to join @siqueiradaniele and the @AgRural team in Paraná next month to discuss the changing dynamics of the U.S. #soybeans complex and the impact on world markets!

AgRural cut #Brazil’s 24/25 #soy production forecast to 165.9 mmt due to drought in Rio Grande do Sul. Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul and even Bahia and Piauí also had cuts. But very good yields in other states partially offset those losses: https://t.co/krjbNwvQ78.
Estamos fechando o grupo do Crop Tour #Argentina 2025! Os detalhes - incluindo o preço por participante - estão todos definidos. Por isso, se você tem interesse em ir com a gente, me mande uma DM ou entre em contato pelo e-mail ou WhatsApp da imagem.

Part of AgRural's agronomical team is on the road to evaluate the #soybean crop in Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul, two #Brazilian states that have faced irregular rains since mid-Dec. Last week, we trimmed the 24/25 crop production forecast to 171 mmt: https://t.co/OnJRJHbkaK
Not much left to tell after taking a look at the graph below. Although #Brazil's Mato Grosso #soybean crop has excellent yield prospects, constant rains have weighed on its harvest pace, raising concerns about the "safrinha" #corn planting window. https://t.co/wzoeRGQAE3
Today, the #Brazilian Real made its lowest close against the US dollar since the currency was adopted in mid-1994. For #soybean and #corn farmers, the chart looks like this, if you know what I mean ;-)
With a smaller #soybean production in 2023/24 and strong demand on all fronts (soy meal exports just made a new high for the year in Oct), #Brazil is importing soy oil to make ends meet. Imports (most from #Paraguay) totaled 88k mt in Jan-Oct.

Busy week for @AgRural's team as we take a look at Brazil's #soybean and summer #corn crop. So far, so good in Goiás (first two photos) and Paraná (others). Next stop: Bahia. And tomorrow is planting progress report day for clients. More here: https://t.co/wzoeRGQ2Ov ;-)
@AgRural is taking a look at Goiás' crops this week. Despite above-normal rains in some areas, #soybean planting has made good progress in #Brazil's #4 producer.

#Argentina's soybean meal exports are back on track after the good #soybean crop harvested in 2023/24. Even so, #Brazilian exports remain strong, setting a new record for Jan-Sep. And Oct 2024 shipments will surpass the 1.9 mmt exported in Oct 2023. https://t.co/wzoeRGQ2Ov
The 24/25 #soybean planting is already finished (or almost there) in some regions of Paraná, #Brazil’s #2 producer. In other regions, soybeans are planted a little later, after the winter crops harvest. Photo taken today in Tibagi, in the “Campos Gerais” region. @AgRural
Mato Grosso is huge, but not the only #soybean producer in #Brazil. In #2 Paraná, the planting pace is the fastest since 18/19. Rains that have favored southern states are slowly moving northwards and bringing hope to farmers in central Brazil: https://t.co/wzoeRGQ2Ov.
⬆️but #Vietnam, #Turkey, #Indonesia, and #Bangladesh also had decent annual increases. With a new record crop being harvested, #Braxilian#cotton exports will be strong again in 24/25, with shipments starting on Aug 1.
What a curve! With the 23/24 shipments still strong in the first two weeks of Jul 2024, #Brazil's accumulated #cotton exports hit 2.6 mmt as of Jul 12, smashing the previous record for the entire season (2.398 mmt in 20/21). #China was by far the main destination...⬇️
