USDA confirms screwworm in the U.S. in South Texas. While the flesh-eating parasite is mostly attacks livestock, it also can go after pets and humans. If you see something, say something. Call your veterinarian! https://t.co/5tDy4FHg12
You know Google AI isn't quite there yet when you search for a JC program to train artificial insemination technicians (AI spelled out to avoid confusion) and the search returns info on artificial intelligence classes.
How ironic that it's Invasive Species Week, and California is battling a glassy winged sharpshooter infestation caused by infested grape vines sold at Northern California @Costco. GWSS are native to the Southeast and Mexico https://t.co/dfbEw3s4j4
@sacbee Is it really news when this disclaimer is atop the article: "Produced using AI, based on original work by Joe Rubin"? Especially when AI doesn't always get it right? And @sacbee wants people to pay to subscribe to AI slop? Accurate reporting is going down for the 3rd time
@OKWildlifeDept This is even more confusing. Ice cream for bears. I guess this manufacturer doesn't follow @OKWildlifeDept or else they'd know you're not supposed to feed bears or opossums
@JoeDelBosque@tonygill3 Data center near Fayetteville, GA, guzzled 30 million gallons of water and didn't tell residents until their wells started losing pressure https://t.co/9K7jile0Vv
@RichOToole But Texas wasn't always in the SEC. It was a founding member of the SWC back in the early 1900s. Take a look at BBQ. Texans barbecue beef. Southerners prefer BBQ pork. And look at the size of Texas. It's a region unto itself & has its own traditions.
@KatieMiller But do data centers clean the air by removing carbon dioxide and emitting 02 along with healthy food for humans and cows (almond hulls) along with a bunch of biproducts used by other industries?
@RichOToole You must be in West, Texas. I've stopped there before but was a bit underwhelmed. I think the kolachis are better when you get a bit farther south, like around El Campo or Brenham.
NRCS Chief Aubrey Bettencourt steps down after slightly more than a year, no reason given. Supposedly she is moving to a position with the Interior Dept. No further details on that. She was previously the CEO & president of the California Almond Alliance. https://t.co/b2DQcjMWvd
While many of the snacks at Ranch 99 were not to my palate's liking, these caught my eye. Why doesn't Lay's or Utz make a rice-based chip? Rice is a neutral base and you could add sorts of flavors. @Think_Rice
