This occasion also highlights the value of word-of-mouth connections. The Travellers Club were introduced to us by the RSAA, whom we welcomed earlier this year—demonstrating how the relationships we build continue to extend our reach.
On 16 April, we had the honour of welcoming members of The Travellers Club to the Aga Khan Centre and Library. The visit included a tour of the AKC gardens, in-depth Library tour, culminating in a special viewing of rare items, and a visit to the Canticle of the Birds exhibition.
Last week, we hosted Feeling, Thinking, and Moral Hierarchies: Reflections on the Qurʼan and Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, with Dr Karen Bauer.
A thought-provoking and wide-ranging lecture that welcomed over 60 attendees, both in person and online.
On 10 April, we welcomed visitors from the Barakat Trust for @Barakat_org a special tour of the Aga Khan Library. Guided by @DrWalidGhali, the visitors explored AKC, and the Aga Khan Library, where we presented a showcase of the library’s rarest and most precious materials.
