@Super70sSports I remember flying to Hawaii with my parents in 1976 or 77 and walking up the spiral stairs to second story to have a soda with my dad at the bar. We sat in plush swivel chairs and got a deck of cards. We used to be a proper country
@EricaJSandberg I worked at Abercrombie and Fitch on Market Street when I graduated from college in 1996. It was something else back then. You’re right, Elections matter
@HairMtlMessiah I’ve been on a DLR kick the last week or so. His three solo albums still stand up today. “Lady Luck” has an early VH feel and “40 Below” is just a fun song. This album takes me back to HS.
@TracesofTexas Famously said, “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity and you must be prepared to make your own luck”. I have an old SI video “The Gift of Grab” and he’s featured in it and Unitas talks about this. True legend!
@StevePoliti Right?! Now she plays flag football, lacrosse and soccer for her high school. I’m happy to report that she’s made a full and complete recovery from the disappointment of not “paying to play”… 😂
@StevePoliti The biggest grift in the history of youth sports. Praying on a parent’s love for their children. My middle daughter begged to play travel soccer. My deal was she must
practice 1 hour a day on her own to prove it wasn’t a FOMO thing. She didn’t and it saved me $$$.
