THREAD/ 1. We are devastated to hear that the academisation orders will be signed off on Monday, in spite of huge opposition from staff, parents and community stakeholders - and all this in a week when the BBC have revealed how easy it is to abuse the Academy model.
My job is to lead the learning of children and staff in 2 schools.
But also. My job is to keep them safe.
Because I can’t confidently do that, we won’t be opening to more children on June 1st.
