Peter Obi became Chairman of Fidelity Bank in 1996 at 34, emerging as the Youngest Chairman to ever head a Bank in Nigeria’s History.
He led the Bank from a Merchant Bank into a 33B Top commercial Bank by 2001.
45 Year olds “Data boys” are on X questioning him.
Omo 🤦🏾♂️
Rather listen to a renowned international businessman who has chaired several banks and is an alumnus of several Ivy league universities than a criminal who can't even boldly tell us who he really is.
People like u r a sign of the end times where the Bible predicted that men will chose evil over good
For a military service, you talk far too much and share far too many updates. It increasingly gives the impression that much of it is propaganda rather than meaningful progress.
Terrorism, banditry, illegal mining, kidnapping, and cattle rustling are among the biggest security threats Nigeria currently faces. These challenges should be treated with the utmost seriousness, especially when thousands of Nigerians have lost their lives—including serving and retired generals—entire communities have been overrun, and our mineral resources are being stolen with impunity.
To put it plainly, Nigeria is facing a threat to its territorial integrity and economic stability, particularly across much of the northern region. This is not a minor security issue; it is an existential national security challenge.
Rather than issuing routine updates, the public should hear from you when there is genuinely significant progress to report—such as the capture of Bello Turji or the dismantling of major criminal networks that have terrorized communities for years.
Personally, I do not believe these loosely organized criminal groups are superior to our Armed Forces. However, when criminals are earning vastly more money than the average soldier, they become highly motivated and willing to risk their lives. Meanwhile, many of our soldiers are expected to make enormous sacrifices without receiving compensation that reflects the dangers they face.
Nigeria needs to do far more for its military personnel.
Soldiers should receive significantly better pay—pay that exceeds that of political office holders. The families of those who make the ultimate sacrifice should receive substantial compensation and guaranteed lifetime pensions that surpass the generous benefits often awarded to former governors. Every Armed Forces Remembrance Day, state governments should formally honour the widows, widowers, and children of fallen soldiers. Scholarships should be guaranteed for the children of both serving and deceased members of the Armed Forces.
I want to see a military whose members know they are genuinely valued, respected, and supported by both the Nigerian state and its citizens.
This kind of low-level propaganda does not help. If anything, it further erodes the public's confidence and respect, as is evident from many of the comments.
It is time to get serious!
Our country is on fire!
How is ur question relevant to his ability to deliver good governance to the suffering masses?
Seriously is this the sort of questions u ask urself when u want to vote someone that will make decisions about ur life and future?
We joke too much in this country that's why we are still where we are and politicians see is as sheep that can be herded to any pasture or desert they want to.
