@LynAldenContact Exactly what I did with the Stolguard Incident! Read "Jade's" chapters again after I finished the book, just because! Please tell me you are working on another book!
@factor_members Also a bit of colour as an aussie, they just passed one of the most impactful budgets in recent history tonight. Tax reform, i.e substantially increased taxes on capital gains. I believe horrible for capital looking to park itself in Australia
@factor_members Thanks as always for your thoughts Peter. I am in Australia where they have rolled out a social media ban for under 16s and I am not sure I want to scan my face to stay on X. So wanted to say thanks for everything in case I lose my account.
@factor_members Thank you Peter for this writeup. It is always a treat to get a glimpse into your mind and I have enjoyed all these years following you even if I have mostly followed along silently. It will be sad to see your communications with us end at some point but wish you all the best!
@factor_members Please keep these coming Peter! I am looking at trading again after years of hiatus (although for some reason I could not bring myself to leave your community even after stopping trading!) and all these insights are very helpful to me to hopefully do things right this time around
@factor_members Hi Peter, how do you think stock trading would have been different? Increased volatility in returns? Lower annual return on equity? More whipsaw? Longer time frame trends? Thanks Peter I am very curious
@factor_members Hi Peter, would you consider this weekly chart a diamond reversal? I have Edwards & Mcgee open in front of me and believe it is a valid interpretation but am sure I am missing something. Thanks Peter and apologies for my ignorance
@factor_members Australia also has them, curious as to what your thoughts are given the extra counterparty risk and why you have brought it up now? Potentially an avenue for smaller accounts wanting to trade your style?
Thanks Peter
@factor_members Thanks Peter, I am considering using classical charting and what I've learnt from you to trade aussie stocks as I am uncomfortable with my position sizing on most trades if I tried futures. Start small and learn is the plan!
@factor_members Peter, could you elaborate on what sort of changes you would make if you were trading equities? Longer time frame, weekly charts, sizing, stop loss distance, risk management etc? Very curious to why you often state your way of trading doesnt translate to equities thanks!
@factor_members That is a very interesting stat, 80% are stopped out (I assume even if it is for a profit) rather than hitting limits. Thanks for the insight Peter
