Watched #DC at AMB Cinemas, Bangalore.

The movie is a gritty and gripping gangster story with a sensitive love angle.

I expected a solid Lokesh Kanagaraj-style treatment and a brilliant background score by Anirudh. What came completely out of syllabus was Wamiqa Gabbi’s character and her performance.

There’s a caption displayed during the interval: “Madness meets Madness.” You’ll understand the true meaning of it only through her character in the second half.

I think DC stands for Dasu Chandra. Lokesh Kanagaraj performs like a seasoned actor, while Arun Matheswaran handles the direction and writing extraordinarily.

Actress Sanjana Krishnamurthy looks so much like Wamiqa in the film. Casting these two actresses is a masterstroke.

Loved the visuals and technical values.

A must-watch! 🔥
