Last year, our Infirmary St. Etienne was nearly out of #insulin for our #diabetic patients, since we had been unable to ship more due to the insecurity in #PortauPrince. Thanks to @AgapeFlights & Insulin for Life, insulin arrived 12 hours later and was distributed the next day.
**Agape Flights Update: F406 Airplane Repair**
Our maintenance team is hard at work on the F406 airplane! Chase and Greg are putting in long hours, tackling engine maintenance and airframe repairs. With their dedication, we're hopeful to have it flying again by mid-October.

Agape Flights has received authorization to conduct two flights to Haiti this week. We will be delivering critical supplies and helping missionaries who wish to leave. For security reasons, we won't be publishing specific flight plans.

Agape CEO Allen Speer is advocating for action to help the Haitian people in a series of media interviews this week. Agape Flights has been unable to access Haitian airports to deliver critical supplies to missionaries for two consecutive weeks.
For the 2nd consecutive week, we're unable to provide cargo service to mission partners in Haiti. We will resume flights operations as soon as the safety of our air crews and our mission partners can be reasonably assured.
Southwest District Mission Program in partnership with Agape Flights and Hope For Cuba Foundation is sending to Cuba, 17 water purification systems, 16 walkers, 1,900 pounds of Tender Mercy meals.

Because of the border closing between the Dominican Republic and Haiti, Friday’s flight from the D.R to Haiti must first land in the Bahamas. This will add time and expense to our efforts to assist ministries and NGOs in serving the needs of the Haitian people.
