Over Easter, our Biology tutor, Julia provided an outreach project engaging young people from diverse backgrounds with the natural world. Children received a climate change talk, looked at microscopic animals living in the moss and wrote poems based on what they had learned.

It's been an honour and pleasure to have been brought on as creative lead for the #OurWorld project by @RightsCommunity. I was asked to expand upon the activities, guide the event to be a unique mixture of the arts and sciences that engages young people about #climatechange

Best part is, the event isn't over! there will be an exhibition of the art work and event at @SpinnersMill and a screening with @LeighFilm. We will also be reaching out to the people of Wigan Borough for their thoughts on climate change and how you can be involved too!
