Thank you, Amooti, for the friendship, the love, the laughter and memories we created; for the dreams we shared, the journeys we walked and the legacy we built together.

H.E. @AgathaEngadu and I were privileged to share a very special chapter of our lives with you. For a decade, we served beside you, believed in your vision and watched the young King we knew grow into a remarkable leader, humble, gracious, ambitious for his people and deeply proud of Tooro, Uganda and Africa.

But beyond the Crown, we knew Oyo, our friend. That is the loss we are struggling to comprehend today.

There was still so much to do, so many dreams to fulfil, so many conversations yet to have. We were simply not ready to say goodbye.

Our hearts are with the Queen Mother, the Royal Family and the entire people of Tooro whom you loved and served.

In our tradition, Kings do not die; they journey to the village of the ancestors. Today, Amooti, you have gone to the King of Kings. May He receive you with the same grace, humility and love with which you touched so many lives.

Farewell, Amooti. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for allowing us to walk part of this extraordinary journey with you.
