Nigeria doesn’t just suffer from corruption, it suffers from terrible hoarders. Dunno if anyone remembers that goblin in Merlin season 3, that licks gold coins for fun while locking them away in a vault...Doing nothing.

The terrible utilization of resources really grinds my gears, Saudi Arabia, a Muslim and oil rich nation, has government backed agencies that function somewhat like Y Combinator, deploying resources and funding to promising startups/entrepreneurs. Imagine if most of Naija's missing treasures were deployed into meaningful projects, who knows how magnificent this land would be.
A certain Nigerian startup received funding tagged as “huge” for a Nigerian tech hardware startup. I just shook my head because the government can sign a cheque that size ten times over without blinking.
