So further to my post about not evacuating with bags yesterday, a couple of thoughts if you’re a regular air passenger…
1) Keep your car keys, passport, phone, medicines and ID in a separate small bag. Keep this with you.
2) Keep your shoes on until after takeoff. Evacuate in the middle-east in summer and the tarmac will blister your feet.
3) Two breaths of smoke in a fire can render you unconscious, hence the drive to evacuate promptly.
4) Count the seat rows and direction between your seat and the nearest exit. If you can’t see it is the easiest way to get out.
5) Leave EVERYTHING behind. It’s all replaceable. You are not. You will get it all back eventually.. it might take a while though.
6) The decision to evacuate is a huge and difficult one for the flight crew. If they’ve hit the big red go button, with all the information they have available, then it’s probably not the best time to “Take a view” on it..
@denkmit But isn't it a case of don't need it, don't waste money it. I agree with the point you made on the podcast, but in a normal race, how would the strategy team make an impact beyond the start ?
Happy #Sinterklas!!!
KLM is the oldest running airline which has stayed with same name and flag. I had the opportunity to try on the last ever Captain's hat that KLM produced, before it stopped this version. #Bedankt Cpt. Smeers

Is it because it costs effort and the team does not want to do it? Or is the owner's manual wrong to recommend the same?
Any RWD car with this kind of torque is bound to have uneven wear and tear between F & R wheels, so rotation should be necessary.
@elonmusk@Tesla The owner's Manual recommends that tyres are rotated every 10k Kms, especially if I have a RWD Model Y. But the service teams keep telling us that this is only for US and does not apply for NL. Why is the recommendation not followed here?
