@Pregumin_@ElDogson@coconut_jpgg@notme102023 The account loses access to download them again?
They can't enforce it past their own service without DRM, but lack of a means to enforce it doesn't make it "100% meaningless", that's just not how that works.
@Pregumin_@ElDogson@coconut_jpgg@notme102023 If the license is revoked, you must forfeit use of the software (i.e refunding) legally- and as a sidenote, not all titles on Steam have DRM.
@Off_Traxx@ThaStrangr@brown_john18944@Glassdoorgamer Funny you say that, the majority of the skins present in the game are community-created and thus they receive a cut from funds generated by their respective containers that their skins appear in.
>Games cost $70 $80 now
>Half the games are remakes
> Devs are obsessed photo-realistic graphics
>Games launch unfinished and need months of patches
>Every game wants to be live service
>Good optimization barely exists anymore
Meanwhile indie games are doing all the hard job
@RealZhandroid@Pirat_Nation All purchasable software is and has always been provided as a license, no matter if it's physical or digital, not only will this will not change but this isn't what the initiative is about.
@CDavidPowell@Pirat_Nation It continues being Free to Play, in-game purchases are usually considered separate and licensed to you similarly to the base game.

But I can STILL BE HYPE! Use code DLHULTRA50 at my shop at Jinxxy and get 50 percent off!

@LilithXO1x@initialrv@Dexerto Adding onto this, the cases only ever dropped for free and after that it's yet another aftermarket item you have to haggle with another player to obtain.
@LC105NT@quarktoash@initialrv@Dexerto The prices the terminals ask for are sourced from the aftermarket and at most either overcut or undercut at it, if the market crashed further for one reason or another so does the price in the terminal, either way the money goes to Valve, doesn't matter where you spend it.
@Freeman1739281@PeachessJade@Pirat_Nation Trading of keys was disabled in CS during GO to combat money laundering that players were partaking in, which sucks big time for those who purely did item trading.
Feels like CS has been slowly undoing the gimmick just to prevent people trying to abuse and make profit for real.
@Freeman1739281@PeachessJade@Pirat_Nation You couldn't craft keys themselves, but you could trade a variety of items with another player for one.
There was a lot of neat things you could get from crates, specific items were found within specific crates, alongside a bonus item sometimes on top of that.
