MetaDAO core put forward the proposal and the market approved it. It transfers $2M USDC from the treasury to seed Ownership Capital, an activist fund built to operate inside the ecosystem.

- What is Ownership Capital?

It is a dedicated fund that participates only in MetaDAO raises and tokens.

It will back ventures and act as a full-time activist, pushing for liquidations or buybacks when a project underperforms.

David Khosroshvili (@allocateur) and Ioseb Khutsishvili (@AgentMechanic) will run it. The two Georgian entrepreneurs have built a crypto prop trading firm and several tech businesses together over many years.

The motivation for establishing Ownership Capital comes from two bottlenecks.

1) Smaller raises tend to exclude institutions, since most funds carry minimum check sizes and position limits.

2) To work optimally, MetaDAO depends on activists who monitor the ecosystem and create liquidation or buyback proposals when a business turns.

Ownership Capital formalizes that role and will give the system a full-time source of feedback.

As said in the intro, the fund will be seeded with $2M USDC, roughly 20% of MetaDAO's freely spendable treasury. Year-one costs add a $140K management fee supplement and up to $150K in setup.

Fund assets will sit in a 3-of-4 multisig signed by Proph3t, Kollan House, and the two managers for the first 24 months, or until the fund reaches $10M in AUM.
