@craigsdennis Lol, recording a video isn't doing it live again, you have no idea how many takes, how much the dots audio was done in post etc. It's a good way to recover from a demo flop but that keynote demo was poorly managed and belly flopped it's launch.

@sporadica There are plenty of large companies who do live demos all the time, it's mostly Apple, Google and Meta who love the fake shit. Props to OpenAI for trying to do it live but they deserve the criticism for flopping it that demo was poorly managed, no ghost driven backup etc.

@ai_for_success Um video <> live. You have no idea how many takes it was, whether the audio was tweaked in post etc. It's a good video (though the fake this is handcam animation in post on what's clearly a higher res tripod shot is overdone) but video < live demo.

@original_ngv It's a good video and props to them for trying to demo live but they just need to do better. They aren't a startup, there are ways to build demos with redundancy and more reliability in the 1st place. They deserve the props for demoing live but also the criticism for flubbing it

@kunchenguid It's great that OpenAI tries to do real demos, not like Apple or Google fake bs. She handled the failures gracefully. But OpenAI deserve the criticism for badly managing the demo for an important launch, it was half assed. no ghost driven backup, no isolated demo tennant etc.

@CopaExMachina That wasn't a model either. Cameron shot the under the bridge sequence himself because the crew thought it was too dangerous. Stunt pilot Chuck Tamburro flew the actual helicopter under the underpass and Cameron manned the camera with another stunt driver driving the truck.

@retrocvnty Season 5 was beak BTVS but it makes me sad that Michelle Trachtenberg died so young and Joss perved on her during her time on the show. Hard to shed the ick factor.
