@arammelkoumov@lydiahallie The problem is not Anthropic's move. It's framing it as "new credits" when the agent SDK will now cost a lot more to run.
A no BS "running LLMs is expensive, so we switch the Agent SDK to full API rates" post was the way to go.
Most don't get it: this new Claude Agent SDK / `claude -p` $100 credit is BAD!
You'll be billed *API rates* and you'll only have $100 included. With heavy Agent SDK usage, this will be gone in hours.
Prompt: "make my SDK workflow agnostic" then switch.

Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage.
The credit covers usage of:
- Claude Agent SDK
- claude -p
- Claude Code GitHub Actions
- Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK
I LOVE get-shit-done, but quick is a bit too quick, and phases are too complex for my needs.
So I created my own GSD alternative. With full todos integration, parallelism and a Product Owner twist.
This + Opus 4.6 medium effort thought = less context used and much faster.
@eliana_jordan 14 no doubt. 16 is a nightmare in planes, trains. If you stay somewhere for extend periods, get a cheap 24 inch display.
Had a MBP 2019 16, and now a MBP M4 Pro 14.
Never looking back.
(and I need the rel estate for FCPX and VSCode, but 14 is so portable...)
@pavlos1944@adrienbseo Me suis fait dรฉglinguer aussi semaine passรฉe.
