@kanengomibako I try similar rechargeable batteries like this, and noise is unacceptable, so i try use two tiny rechargeable battery from Bluetooth headphones in series, and get around 8.4v
With no noise

recently i finished building BD2 with opamp based on @kanengomibako schrmatic, this pedal have a lot of gain than othe overdrive pedal i have created, maybe the most loud i can say

@kanengomibako I try searching video reviews v1.0 and 1.2 i found some and i can't hear the different, the two unit is like have the same sound, in my ears, so i just guess the schematic maybe the same but wiht some different components values
