Also, most turbofans don’t quit. If you lose one engine, the other compensates and you land safely

Quality matters. This is part of my truck that supplies windshield washer fluid. It's high pressure and @RamTrucks opted to use cheap push fittings. Guess what happens when you push fluid quickly through a cheap part? It comes apart and then I have to take apart the entire heat shield off the hood. #truck #ram

You may be correct on the training. I read she was doing her IOE training but now it's not clear

Because she was a UND grad with all the appropriate certifications and licenses. Passed her type rating and IOE. She was well qualified as an FO. Race or gender had nothing to do with her hire or training

@Thomas10972680 He was not in charge of training her. He was pilot monitoring she was pilot flying. She is typed in the aircraft and holds all the correct certifications and licenses. In no case, would he ever take over controls on the landing.

@MouserPoodle @akafaceUS Pilot Flying (PF) is flying the plane. Pilot Monitoring is doing just that plus talking on frequency. Captain or FO can assume either role and discussed during preflight
