Sometimes, inspiration can come from the strangest combinations. In our submission for the new Field Center in Oak Park, we combined Wynken, Blyken, and Nod with Brutalism and Prairie Style. Although we did not make it to the shortlist, we are proud of the final result!

Sneak peek! We’re working with a client to add a primary suite to the attic of their 1908-framed home. The roof's steep pitch helps create ample space, especially when combined with a double-height stair & seating area. We’re focusing design efforts on the stair & railing/storage
It’s #BrutalMonday! Today, we feature one of our favorite column cap details—the Treptow Krematorium in Berlin, Germany. This detail lets light into an otherwise cool and hard-surfaced space, creating the ideal environment for reflection.

It’s #BrutalMonday! While clad in limestone due to being on the National Mall, the East Gallery certainly has all the characteristics from Pei’s Brutalist influences - basic geometry, waffle slabs, and a fantastic atrium.
Our ode to River City mashed up with Road Warrior Hawk. We had a blast strolling down State Street with @ArtsintheDark and the rest of the #architectsguild.
