12 THINGS THAT SILENTLY DESTROY A CHILD'S CONFIDENCE. MOST PARENTS DO AT LEAST THREE.
1. Answering questions for them when they hesitate, even by half a second.
After working with different people and teams for years, I’ve noticed something:
A lot of the things we’re taught about work aren’t actually true.
Here are 15 things I genuinely believe:👇
1. Looking busy doesn’t mean you’re getting important work done.
12. Not letting them choose anything, ever, even small things.
A child with zero say in their own day learns their preferences don't matter, which is the exact opposite of what confidence is built from.
HOW TO READ PEOPLE BEFORE YOU TRUST THEM
1. Kindness in the first conversation is a costume. Watch what they do when it costs them something.
2. Loyalty is not a speech. It is who stays when the situation gets heavy and there is nothing to gain.
3. Promises are marketing. Patterns are the product. Count the repeats, not the words.
4. The private version is the real one. How they act when nobody is watching is the person you will eventually live with.
5. Listen to how they talk about people who are not in the room. That is how they will talk about you once you leave it.
6. Pressure is a truth serum. Deadlines, disappointment, and mild inconvenience strip the performance faster than any interview.
7. Access to your time, mind, and energy is not a welcome gift. It is a privilege that has to be earned twice.
8. The wrong person does not steal a day. They steal years, then call it a misunderstanding.
9. The right person multiplies you without needing a speech about it. You feel lighter after them, not audited.
10. Test small before you trust big. A boundary, a delay, a “no.” Their reaction is the file you were missing.
11. Your peace is expensive. Stop handing the receipt to people who have not paid.
Quick recap. Save this for the next time someone asks:
1. Ask what's going on
2. Take time before you decide
3. Only lend what you can afford to lose
4. Agree on a clear amount and date
5. If you can't lend, offer another kind of help
TO ALL MEN, BE HONEST.
What's ONE habit you've changed that has brought you more peace of mind?
Share it in the comments. Your experience might be exactly what another man needs to hear today.
14. Every small choice is a chance to move in the right direction.
15. You don't need a fresh start every Monday. You can start again today.
My biggest takeaway?
You don't change your life in one big moment.
You change it through the small things you keep doing, even when nobody is watching.

This is crazy! 😂😂😂 Sifuna has supporters with brains beyond normal understanding. Like this one — he says Ruto shouldn't be asking @edwinsifuna for an agenda; he should ask the people. Eti Ruto is not running against Sifuna; he is running against the people. #SisiNdioSifuna
PARE DE PERGUNTAR AO SEU FILHO "COMO FOI A ESCOLA."
Ele vai dizer "foi legal" toda vez.
Uma psicóloga infantil me disse pra substituir por uma dessas 4 perguntas:
Some of the best business ideas in Kenya might be hiding inside the things we complain about every day.
A reliable home-repair service where you can get a plumber, electrician or carpenter without calling five different people.
A service that collects clothes for laundry and brings them back.
Affordable storage spaces for people moving houses or living in small apartments.
A proper marketplace for trusted house helps, babysitters and caregivers.
Even a service that helps people find and compare available rental houses without walking around estates for hours.
Brainwash yourself into seeing beauty.
Your attention is teaching your brain what deserves to exist.
Every beautiful thing you deliberately notice makes beauty easier to notice again.
Every flaw you obsess over trains the opposite.
People think perception reflects reality.
More often,
perception is reflecting what you’ve been practicing.
You don’t live in the world you see.
You live in the world your attention has learned to find.
Most people think the devil breaks down the door... No.
He's usually already inside. Eating dinner. Using your fork. Laughing at your jokes a little too loud so you don't notice he's counting the silverware.
We no longer lock doors from strangers... they're locked them from family who visited too often and left with too much.
The wolf that eats at your table doesn't need to break in. You already fed him a seat.
In life, use every unfair advantage you have to your benefit be it looks, genetics, connections, family wealth and inheritance, curves...whatever it is.
Life is not a soap opera. Do not choose the hardest path to act noble when an easier path still takes you home. People ultimately judge you on results and outcomes: not your tribulations in the Egyptian Desert to Canaan.
