Most companies face inertia. My framework enables ultra-rapid experimentation so that people can introduce change, innovate, and thrive under uncertainty.
@RobStuttaford Great! Let me know how it goes for you! I'm always curious (and occasionally wildly surprised) when I hear what people tried to accomplish with it. #jtbd
@petikoch Most likely :-) They both remind me of Steve Covey: "In the space between what happens to us and how we respond, lies our freedom to choose. In that freedom lies our maturity".
First 300 tickets for the conference went fast 🚀 but fear not, we opened up another batch! Grab yours https://t.co/l0ZnSLTen3 but please, return it if you are not attending!
Loving the 'popcorn' @agilesensei challenge @johncutlefish set at the end of his talk. Practical tips for kick starting the work that makes the work work. Great to hear him talk after being an avid reader for so long, thanks to #mtpengage#MTPengageMCR@MTPEngageMCR
X : Our CIO doesn't have any IT / engineering experience.
Me : The tendency to put someone with "business" experience in charge. Let's us make this Sales Veep the CIO ... it'll make IT more business like. That's like making a clown the head surgeon as you want people to be happy.
Funny. I'm using #clojure (which favors immutability as default) to build the ultimate #popcornflow platform (which, metaphorically, creates mutants as result of ultra-rapid experimentation). Some weird deep lesson is hidden somewhere.
@NativeWired@chrisvmcd Bah, I created them (back in 2011) as a bit of fun. I scripted each gag before drawing. Stories without conflict are arguably rare and definitely dull. ;-)
@Wivani_ PopcornFlow embraces a close form of that principle ("It's not only what you do, but also what you learn by doing it that matters"), but the concept of validated learning is borrowed by Lean Startup. /cc @allenholub@KentBeck
