Took a Delta Airlines flight from Begusarai to Mughalsarai. To my shock and anger, none of the four air hostesses were from the SC, ST, or OBC categories.
In 1546, when Humayun invented the airplane out of regret for failing to reach his sister Rani Karnavati in time despite receiving her rakhi, he never could have imagined that his invention would one day be used as a tool for social injustice.
Sarkar airhostess bharti me samajik nyay lekar aaye anyatha andolan hoga.
Massive lines infront of Indian visa center in Dhaka. Indian visa operations in Bangladesh have been impacted due to turmoil in the country. Visa operations of other countries also hampered.
The recent Memorandum from DoPT requiring mandatory checking-in on their digital system at workplaces is a good initiative in principle to deal with absenteeism of government officials. But surely some flexibility is called for in the case of those, like scientists & technical staff working under various scientific departments of the Govt, or emergency responders, or even drivers of senior officials, who are obliged to keep irregular hours. Eg., Depending on the research work they are engaged in, scientists often work beyond office hours, even up to midnight some days. Rather than requiring them to turn up for work early the next day, they could be evaluated based on the total number of hours they put in. An 8 to 10 hour work day (or a 40 to 50 hour work week) should surely suffice to demonstrate their sincerity, rather than they time they punch the clock in the morning? @DrJitendraSingh

Why does Nirmala Sitharaman get criticism when the economy has performed well under her despite COVID and other setbacks?
Answer: Taxpayers are the backbone of the economy. When the economy is doing great, some relief should come back to them also. But instead, you get more taxes. Despite paying income tax, whatever is left for savings, you have to pay tax on that too.
For instance, capital gains tax applies to profits from investments in stocks, real estate, or other assets. Interest earned on savings and fixed deposits is also taxed. Even long-term investments for the future, such as retirement funds or mutual funds, are not exempt. These policies discourage savings and investments, which are crucial for personal financial growth and economic stability.
Then watching your hard-earned money milked through taxes to fund freebies and welfare schemes, especially for those who don't give a damn about this country, is frustrating.
If things are going so great, give some relief to us too. But no, all we get is 'that smirk'.
