When Betsy-Jeff Penn 4-H Camp faced closure in 2013, I wrote a law to keep it and other 4-H camps open across the state. I am grateful to Chancellor Howell’s commitment to 4-H and the many volunteers who make the experience like no other. I am also grateful to Commissioner Troxler and the strong partnership he has with NCSU to research beef cattle and crop production at the Upper Piedmont Research Station to help our farms increase efficiency and productivity. #ncpol
