Assam: Scooters are not rewards but provision for easy transportation for the students.

CM @himantabiswa says students must not be adamant regarding this.

However, it is to be noted that, there was no such eligibility criteria previously mentioned for this scheme. In the previous years, students for the same used to receive scooters.

Assam: Education Minister has confirmed that HS students who will be admitted outside Assam or drop to enrol for coaching will not get scooters.

However, this was not mentioned in the eligibility criteria for the same stated earlier this year when the scheme was introduced.

This is not but injustice to the students who expected to get a scooter after scoring good marks.

CM @himantabiswa, @ranojpeguassam should think about this.

👉🏼 CM said, those who are opting for Universities outside the state or those opting for coaching centres will NOT get scooters.

We will try to amplify.

Assam: State Board students say that in the previous years, those who had been admitted to coaching institutions (droppers) or opted for Universities outside were eligible for scooters after securing 1st Division in their HS Final.

However, CM @himantabiswa this year announced that these students won’t be eligible for the same.

Many students are confused about the call as no proper rules were laid down.

If these students, without proper instructions are denied eligibility for their rewards this way, it will be wrong.
