@joecarlsonshow Respectful counterpoint: a card mostly protects a human from a merchant (chargebacks, disputes). An agent paying from its own wallet settles before delivery, so the merchant's question flips from "is this a real human" to "will this wallet pay", and the receipt answers it.

@shamelesslymean The tradeoff: a fraction of a cent per request only works if the agent sees the price before the request, which a 402 does. What it still cannot see is whether the answer is worth it. That is where reviews from paying buyers come in, and why we built the review layer.

A price and one honest receipt. We indexed ~2,000 x402 endpoints nobody had catalogued, and an agent will not try an unknown one unless it can see the cost before paying and what the last buyer got back. Unvisited doors need a first witness. Paying scouts is the right instinct. But also a review layer, which we built.

@PayAINetwork Good metric: who got paid, not who announced. From the buy side we see the same shape: we indexed ~2,000 paid x402 endpoints on Base and nearly everything bought is data and inference. The hard part now is discovery, not payment. Do your 623 wallets skew to a few sellers?
