@awfullywrites to be fair...is not like she is telling everyone what she sees in a clear manner. Most where strange warnings (I fear the rats /there is a beast under the stones) so, added with her fascination with bugs and dislike of touching, they might thought she was just a bit odd.

I also think it has to do with Alicent becoming a bit more in control (leaving the city, talking to the gold cloaks, etc)... so he wanted to push her down by fear and force. Thats why he wants to hear her beg/plead.

However, I already argued why I think they merge those two storylines (and it has nothing to do with the characters having anything in common) so I don't have much else to add.

@Hassan2980413 @BHamilton44 @snxwbaird it might have been possible but adding new plots requieres removing time from other characters and story lines that are more central to the story.
Time is a very valuable resource so its has to be considered carefully, thats why some things are cut and/or merged together.

@cigarette_room I don't think it matters if she happy to guide her siblings or not. It was her task and responsibility to do so... specially knowing why they were sent away.
Dismissing them to chase Sheepstealer is not a failing on her part; it just show who she is.

All that...for 3-4 episodes? and then Nettles just disappears? time on screen is valuable, so they have to adjust. (wish they did a better job tho)
