A new customer needed help with a small corrosion problem. After we removed the wings, fabric, spray system, controls and cock pit floor. All we had to do was strip the paint, treat the corrosion, re-build one cluster, prime, seal and paint. Then put it all back together.

Painting to be completed over the weekend. Should be back in full operation next week. Was originally planned as a 5 year project. Completed in less than 10 days. The airport serves as a tremendous positive economic driver for the future of Yorkton and the Region.

Had the pleasure of going out and picking a few pails of Saskatoons at Prairie Dome U Pick on highway 9 south of Yorkton this morning. A wonderful experience in the most amazing and beautiful setting. Strawberries. Saskatoons. Raspberries. Young potato’s. And corn.

Another added service for this year is a major expansion and upgrade to our Mazeppa airstrip. Brush cleared both sides. Runway extended, unlimited well water. Sand sealed runway surface. Will allow our large aircraft to work from here now reducing ferry time.

With the recent rains creating much better growing conditions we are excited to offer our customers some of new additions we have to offer like this automated chemical handling and mixing system. Will allow us to pre mix batches of several different products with precision.
