Halton Agreement Forest Trail Association is a non-profit org. dedicated to maintaining and creating natural trail & representing the community of said trails.
Some tips, everywhere very busy during peak times on weekends because of reasons that should be obvious. Users will likely find themselves corralled onto Line 4 Nassagaweya. Lots of room, but your visit may involve a hike on the road.
Thanks for patience,

HAFTA has posted all the signs for our new Fat Bike loop! This year’s loop is brought to you in co-operation with Glen Abbey Physiotherapy. We’ve been working hard to keep 17.2km of volunteer maintained, but un-groomed trails available for the community.

Do not visit the forest today, the winds are too strong. Branches and trees are being blown down. Unfortunate because we'd almost finished cleaning the trails up after last Saturday's event! #HaltonON#MiltonON#Agreementforest#HiltonFalls#WindyAF
We are surveying the trails and dealing with damage. If you visit the forest please exercise caution, not every trail has been cleared or inspected. Hazardous branches and trees that have not finished falling are present. Wind gusts ~ 100km/h! #HaltonON#MiltonON#Agreementforest
@Colin1Best Off side road 10? A dumping was reported by a member last night and we directed them to the Town this morning. Hopefully the investigation turns up a clue, that’s a particularly large mess to have to clean up!
Help protect yourself from ticks and Lyme disease. Wear light-coloured, long-sleeved clothing, use bug spray and do a tick check after outdoor activity. To learn more about preventing Lyme disease, visit: https://t.co/XORM6XLtty
@trailforks app also has an emergency button. However all this needs cell service and several dead-zones exist in our forest, but even if you see “no service” the towers can often pickup enough signal to connect an emergency call; so keep trying to call if you need help.#HaltonON
With the increase in use of hiking trails, parks, and conservation areas, the HRPS urges residents to download the @what3words app.
This weekend, the what3words app helped us locate lost hikers. Details here: https://t.co/d3QIK6kdH5
Here is how it works:
Be a good neighbour and don’t park on private driveways while you visit the trails. Plenty of parking is available on Fourth Line just North of Side Road 10. BTW trails are slippery with humidity and recent rain. #HaltonON#MiltonON#HaltonHills#Campbelleville#stayhydrated
