At AgriWellness Support Network, we believe nurturing mental wellness is essential, especially for farmers overcoming challenges in all environments. Together with Metalé Care Foundation, we helped sow the seeds for growth, healing, and fresh beginnings even behind bars.
In March, we were honored to join forces with Metalé Care Foundation on their inspiring Bloom Behind Bars initiative at a correctional facility in Ogun State. This program equips inmates with agricultural skills to help them build new lives.
#AgriWellness#MentalHealthMatters
As part of this partnership, we delivered a talk focused on mental health and well-being supporting these new farmers as they embrace resilience, hope, and self-care on their journey.

5 Must-Haves on the Farm for Safety
Every day, farmers face risks from machinery, chemicals, animals, and the environment. Here here are five essential safety must-haves every farm should prioritize:
1️⃣ A well-stocked first aid kit for treating injuries before getting help
2️⃣ Protective gears (PPE) to keep you safe from chemicals, dust, sharp tools, etc.
3️⃣ Fire extinguishers in key locations
4️⃣ Emergency Contact List & Plan
5️⃣ Proper Signage & Safety Training
Your safety on the farm matters! 🚨 What safety measures do you have on your farm?
Love isn’t just something you give to others—it’s something you should give to yourself too.
Self-care is Self-love
Rest when you're tired, be kind to yourself on hard days, and celebrate even the small wins.
Taking care of yourself is productive.
#FarmersDeserveLoveToo
Small changes like getting better sleep, taking proper breaks, and talking to someone can make a big difference.
Pay attention to these signs and take steps to manage stress before it leads to burnout
#PhysicalWellBeing#HealthyFarmer
When stress becomes constant, it can lead to burnout, making even the work you once loved feel exhausting. Unlike regular tiredness, burnout doesn’t go away with rest and can affect both your health and productivity.

⚠️ Common Signs of Burnout:
🔴 Always feeling drained—no matter how much you rest
🔴 Losing motivation or interest in farm work
🔴 Mood swings, frustration, or sadness
🔴 Feeling overwhelmed by financial or workload pressure.
