@rob65556950 @jehawks @mycroft16 @parlertakes Just clear something up. EBS was replaced by the EAS in 1997, so technically EBS dos not exist anymore. EAS does not work on cellphones, WEA is the system there. I prepared a brief of both technologies a while ago to clear misconceptions.

@KrystynaWisson @BeforeKong Spain,who does not have the same EAS/WEA, had a 4.3 earthquake and more than 50 aftershocks in a single day. Recommend you read 47 C.F.R. Part 11 §11.61 which establishes the rules for EAS testing. Tests are done by cable systems or in the case local stations by region. ) 1/2

@MJTruth2 These tests are a weekly and monthly thing as indicated in 47 C.F.R. §11.61. They even specify what must be in them. You will get a clear picture if you know the provider of the people getting the tests.
