On 29 December 2021, National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi got into a fistfight with Sigowet-Soin MP Benard Koros during a heated vote on the Political Parties Amendment Bill, 2021.

The fight started when Koros tried to vote on behalf of an absent MP, which Mbadi opposed, saying it was against procedure. Mbadi alleges Koros bit his finger, and in response Mbadi punched Koros, injuring him in the eye.

On February 14, 2001, Rongo MP Ochillo Ayacko, Rangwe MP Shem Ochuodho, engaged in a fistfight in the corridors of Parliament. The clash reportedly started after Ochuodho accused Ayacko of hiring goons to disrupt his meetings back in the constituency.

Tempers flared, and soon blows were exchanged near the toilets of the August House. Ochuodho later claimed that Ayacko hit him with an object, leaving him unconscious. Ayacko however, maintained he only slapped his colleague after being provoked.
