Last night the great city of New York lost on the court, in the crowd and in the streets. As somebody who cares deeply about this city it was a disgusting display all the way around. Maybe they aren’t ready for a championship. I’m hoping they are better for Game 4. #knickin5
"I think the Philadelphia Phillies are as poised to win a World Series as they ever have been... I'm on the Philly train."
- Jake Peavy following their sweep of the Padres
I really will never get over Castellanos taking public shots at the organization and manager for basically an entire season before his exit and a decent portion of the fanbase siding with him. It's like if AJ Brown gave you the on-field production of Quez Watkins
The Phillies lineup isn't normal bad. It's really really bad. Way worse than previous years. They haven't struggled to this extent in exactly a decade.
Is there any hope?

The Phillies will leave Los Angeles 8-17 against teams currently occupying playoff spots. Their next 12 games are against teams currently occupying playoff spots.
You just can't make this up. #Phillies prospect Felix Reyes homered AGAIN to give the @Ironpigs the lead in the 9th.
Reyes was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double today and is now hitting .360 with 11 HRs in 114 AB, good for a 1.117 OPS. Just absolutely unreal.
The Phillies are paying Nick Castellanos about $19.2 million to play for the Padres. He's batting .190 with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs, .578 OPS and -0.8 WAR. They are paying Adolis García $10 million to be his replacement. He's batting .203 with 4 homers, 15 RBIs, a .607 OPS and -0.3 WAR.
Defensively, García is +3 OAA (436 innings in the field) while Castellanos is -4 OAA (167 innings).
