Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the Anywaa Genocide committed by the #TPLF government in #Ethiopia. We may forgive, but we will never forget. Even though karma has already played its role, justice is still pending, and it must be served.
We demand justice for all the victims of the Anywaa genocide on December 13. The TPLF leaders and collaborators who were responsible must be brought to justice.
Victory for #Ethiopia! YES, Africans can also build—just look at the pyramids. Celebration was going well in #Kenya! The victory of #Adwa has boosted the great revolution and struggle for independence throughout the African continent. The finishing of #GERD is another victory for Ethiopia. What a great time in history to be alive and be a witness to this second Adwa victory!
@JekapOmod Regrettably, I must acknowledge that a significant portion of Ethiopians exhibit racist tendencies, which is unfortunate but reflective of reality.
Well said brother! I described the current existing colorism and discrimination based on skin color in #Ethiopia in my book Anywaa: The Lou of Western Ethiopia https://t.co/XADrfREYTL.
Kenyan🇰🇪 authorities are forcing Anywaae of Ethiopia to relocate to Kakuma Camps where they’re facing insecurity in the hands of S. Sudanese criminals Nuers.
Thank you brother! These terrorists and criminals who murdered innocent civilians in the most brutal manner possible will be brought to justice. They have no humanity, and the history shall never forgive them!

He has no moral to talk about the killing of the innocents in Gambela while he’s the one with bloody hands. He should be brought to justice as soon as possible!

This guy will never learn to live peacefully! After losing the election, Gatluak Buom created a group named Gambella Liberation Front (GLF). He used the war in the North as an opportunity to create instability in Gambella in order to disperse the attention of the federal government.
When the TPLF lost the war, he teamed up with the OLF and fooled them to invade Gambella town. I bet they learned the lesson in a very tough way. After his failed and doomed struggle to liberate Gambella, he returned to the region in the name of peace, but with the goal of struggling from within. After his arrival in Gambella, he created one of the deadliest conflicts in the region which resulted in deaths of many civilians and destruction of properties.
In collaboration with the so-called White Army from South Sudan and refugee camps, they burned down 4 villages of the Anywaa community and killed civilians in Piino village in cruel and brutal ways. When he failed to accomplish his goal, he ran to Australia. I don’t know how he sleeps at night knowing that innocent lives are cut short because of his actions.
He might avoid accountability now, but he can’t surely hide from God’s judgment. Galtluak Buom needs to understand that even IF the GoE doesn’t care about Gambella, this land will never become a part of the so-called “Naath Nation” as long as the Anywaa people exist on this earth. Gambella is a part of Ethiopia and it belongs to Ethiopia.
Just because the population of refugees is higher than the local people, doesn’t mean that you have the right to annex the region or claim anything. It will not happen now, tomorrow, or 200 years from now. If the GoE is not too greedy for the money and attention it receives from the IC, there wouldn’t be over 400,000 refugees in Gambella today, which is way closer to the country that they claimed to be running away from.
This business won’t last forever!
Rest in Peace Bachak Oman Ogud! He was one of the best basketball players not just in #Gambella but also at the #Ethiopian National Basketball Team. I don’t understand how someone would kill another human being just for being born in a different community! No police, no security forces, no rule of law, and basically no government!
#South_Sudanese refugees are returning home after the U.S cuts food aid in #Ethiopia.
#S_Sudan is safe and there’s no war in the country anymore. All the camps in #Gambella should have been closed down a long time ago. There’s no need for the Gambella people to continue being forced to host hundreds of thousands of refugees who are consistently killing and displacing them.
