Thai varieties actually taste good when you apply organic fertilizer because the taste comes from the soil. But in the market what we get, these are produced commercially with chemical fertilizers for profit.
The guava I grew up eating is slowly disappearing from our markets.
This one. ๐
Small, local, imperfect looking and around โน60โ80/kg.
Now the market is flooded with these huge Thai guavas.
โน200/kg.
2โ3 guavas can make 1 kg.
Maybe itโs just me, but the local ones taste far better.
Funny how sometimes the cheaper, local version slowly disappearsโฆ while we start paying more for something bigger.
Is this happening in your city too?
@APTalksCricket@mipaltan You can even throw in Santner to open. Old MI used to do such things. Bhajji opended in some games. And include Bawa at the bottom.
