Thanks to everyone who has checked in. I’ve already addressed this several times on my radio show, but while training, I developed a painful pinched nerve in my neck. My doctor put me on prednisone to reduce the inflammation, and while it’s helping, it led to laryngitis and some puffiness, which is normal for this medication. I’m fine, recovering well, and still training, but apparently a few weeks of prednisone has generated more social media commentary than 30 years of ratings success. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes—including from members of the left-wing media. Sorry to disappoint them, but a pinched nerve, a raspy voice, and a puffy face aren’t taking me out anytime soon.
Cags is currently 5th in OPS amongst AL outfielders, trailing only Judge, Buxton, Trout and Bellinger.
I doubt he makes the all star game but they should at least see if he will do the home run derby.
@Royals This is why we fans were so upset about the inconsistent lineups Q was putting out every day we knew CAGS should had never been sitting games out ! Go KC Royals!!
@Royals Appreciate the players effort with this game they wanted the win and they’ll get lots of wins in the near future they deserve our support I’m done complaining , I’m just team ROYALS win or lose!
Done bitching about Zumwalt.
From now on, it’s a daily post reminding everyone that JJ is the only GM in the league who doesn’t believe in accountability.
Philly, NYM, SF - all make moves/want accountability.
This guy could care less.
Stop insulting our intelligence, JJ.
There is no spirit with this team and that starts and sets firmly on the coaching!! There is so much potential for this team with the RIGHT leadership!!
I do find it poetic how #Royals fans want more public fire/urgency from Matt Quatraro, when he replaced a manager in Mike Matheny, who was let go in part due to his clubhouse intensity. I see value in both styles, but I do kinda miss seeing these victory fist pumps. Full circle!
I gave up my 17 year career when my husband needed me at home to care for him within 3 months he passed those 3 months were the best 3 months in our 51 years together. Prayers for both her husband and her God bless you both!
I’m disheartened by all the people attacking a woman who resigned to care for her husband with cancer. I’m equally disheartened by those who mischaracterized her resignation and attributed it to reasons other than the ones she gave. The worst of humanity came out today, and it was almost exclusively the left.
Tulsi Gabbard made a choice to put her husband first while he undergoes the battle of his life. I wish them nothing but good things, restored health, and recovery. I wish that was all anyone wished them. It wasn’t.
There are too many democrats in Congress who attacked her today to post them all here. That’s incredibly sad. Honestly, people should be ashamed of themselves for the way they behaved. This is a human being. She wasn’t treated like one.
@MarkPoulose@KCTV5 Seriously Q you’re talking like you care you the coach that can’t even give us a consistent lineup you might be a ok coach of a T-Ball team but you have no skills for a MLB team! FIRE THIS MAN NOW!!!
President Trump is fighting to keep watching football affordable for NFL fans.
However, Roger Goodell and the NFL are turning America’s game into a corporate streaming racket.
Fans built this league, not Amazon, Netflix, or YouTube.
Now working-class Americans need 5+ subscriptions just to watch football.
The NFL has antitrust protections to keep games broadly available to the public, not to help Big Tech monopolies squeeze fans dry.
It's long past time to revisit this antitrust exemption for the NFL.
