@Kadesh86 Convenience and ownership aren't the same thing. I use Netflix and Spotify because I'm renting access—I know that. When I buy a game, I expect to own it, not lease it until a server shuts down or a license changes. Physical gives me the choice to keep it, lend it or resell it

@Kadesh86 Exactly. Some old tech disappeared because something objectively better replaced it. Physical games aren’t the same story.

A disc or cartridge is something I actually own. I can display it, lend it to a friend, play it years later, and preserve it even if a storefront disappears
