Did you know there are more than bilayer #membranes in nature? Meet the #archaeal monolayer and its surprising mechanical properties! New #preprint! (1/7)
Thrilled to share that @B_Robicheau, postdoc in my lab, will be heading off to bigger and better things as a new tenure track professor! Congrats! ๐
Great news!!! ๐ Happy to announce that I'll be joining the University of Prince Edward Island's Biology Department as new Environmental Microbiologist and tenure-track Assistant Professor in May 2025! My students and I will be working on marine phytoplankton and diazotrophs๐ฆ
1/6 Excited to share our latest work @UWaterloo published in @Virus_Evolution on horizontal gene transfer of a #virus gene (nblA) involved in the disassembly of phycobilisomes, cyanobacterial light-harvesting complexes: https://t.co/BRU5QPngVt
Excitement is building for the 12th iteration of the Aquatic Virus Workshop to be held at the fantastic Oceanologic Observatory in Banyuls-sur-Mer, France during 5-9 May 2025. We have a great lineup of speakers, and a nascent website: https://t.co/udBBHfGTUm
