Imām Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said:
“A man's life is full of misery that he can't overcome without the sweetness of a (righteous) woman by his side.”

Shaykh Rabee al-Madkhali رحمه الله said: “The best and most successful work of a Muslim woman is her staying in her home and dedicating herself to raising her sons and daughters upon Islamic manners, and character; to bring them up holding on to correct religious understandings.”
Shaykh Muqbil Ibn Hādi رحمه الله said: “By Allāh, marrying your sister or daughter to a student of knowledge is better for you than the Dunya and what is in it.” 🌍
📚 •Bashā'ir fī As-Samā' Al-Mubāshar
It is reported that Umar Ibn Khattāb رضي الله عنه said, “I am certainly amazed that a man can be with his family like a child, but if he is needed, he is found to be a true man.”
📚 •Shu’ab al-Emān
Shaykh Muqbil Ibn Hādi رحمه الله said: “Happiness cannot exist
between a husband and wife
except by their combined efforts; remaining patient with each other; working closely towards goodness and displaying teamwork whilst
nurturing their children.”
📚 •Anāqeed al-Karāmah
Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله was asked: “Why do Salafis talk so much about marriage and love it?”
He replied: “Because they are people who do not commit Zina (fornication).”
📚 •Ḥayāh Zawjīyyah bi-Ḥullah Salafīyyah
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “If he sees that 1 wife is not enough for him and he can't maintain his chastity by having only 1 wife, then we enjoin him to marry a 2nd, a 3rd, or a 4th, until he feels comfortable, lowers his gaze, and enjoys peace of mind.” [الشرح الممتع]

Imām Ahmad Ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said: “I married at the age of 40 and due to that Allāh
granted (me) much good.”
📚 •Siyār A’alām an-Nubalā
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said: “The wife must recognize the husband’s rights, he has a significant right over her. She should strive diligently to do what pleases him and brings him joy so that harmony, affection, and love can prevail between them.”

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever has 3 daughters and is patient with them, feeds them, gives them to drink and clothes them from his wealth, they will be a protection for him against the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.”
📚 •Sunan Ibn Mājah, no. 3669, Ṣaḥīḥ (Imām al-Albānī)
Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله said: “Remaining unmarried is extremely dangerous. Therefore, it is not appropriate for a young man to delay marriage if he has the means, nor is it right for a young woman to delay marriage when a suitable proposal comes her way.”
📚 •Majmūʿ al-Fatāwā
One of the Salaf, Wahb Ibn Munabbih رحمه الله said:
“The unmarried man is like a tree in a desert, shaken by the winds from all directions.”
📚 •Narrated by Imām ‘Abd al-Razzāq al-Ṣan‘ānī in al-Muṣannaf (6/171, no. 10386)
Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan حفظه الله said: “The two spouses are the foundation of the family. If the relationship between the two of them is bad, then there will be no stability in the home.”
📚 •Dawr al-Mar’ah fī Tarbiyat al-Usrah
Imām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “The righteous woman is one who is devout, constantly obedient to her husband (in that which is good). There's no right after the right of Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ more obligated upon her than the right of the husband.”
📚 •Majmū‘ al-Fatāwā
Imām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “Whoever needs to get married and fears hardship (i.e., falling into sin) if he leaves it, then marriage is obligatory upon him according to the majority of Ulemā (scholars).”

Imām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “Whoever avoids marriage out of fear of poverty or hardship has fallen into the deception of Shaytān.”
