Africa is on the brink of a digital revolution, where its youthful energy and innovation can reshape the global tech landscape.
At the Hyperscalers Convergence Africa 2025 in Lagos, NITDA DG @KashifuInuwa said Africa’s challenges are opportunities, and its young population is a key asset, if equipped with the right skills through initiatives like the 3MTT programme.
He noted that while developed nations use AI to optimise systems, Africa can use it to solve real problems in healthcare, agriculture, and business, calling this a “Greenfield Opportunity.”
Inuwa also reaffirmed government plans to build AI-ready infrastructure and a National Digital Public Infrastructure linking identity, payment, and data systems.
“This time,” he said, “Africa must collaborate, integrate, and innovate together.”
I think my main “issue” is that I’ve always been marketing-first
80% of the things I learned (from books, courses, etc) are related to sales, marketing and copywriting
And it sure helps, back in my e-commerce days, I managed to sell over 30,000 plastic necklaces thanks to good marketing, that's over half a million in sales! (one day I should tell the story lol)
But I think I need to learn more about making great products now, having a great product people make everything easier.
Hansi Flick: "I'm always optimistic. I only had La Masia players in the first few matches because there were a lot of players in their national teams, but now more players are coming back. Everyone has done well."
