After church, I went to pay condolence visit to a friend that lost her dad. The roads were narrow and there was double parking. I was trying to manage the gap by driving slowly until Lagos happened. Lagosian with his deathly impatience scratched my car.
I couldn't even be angry because I told myself that money would fix it. Somebody just lost her dad and no amount of money could bring him back. Perspective is such an interesting thing.

I’m building my personal website to look like VS Code.
Not a normal portfolio.
Not one of those “please hire me” type of websites.
This one is different.
It’s about who I am, what I build, what I teach, what I create, and the joy I find in tech.
The site is already like 80% done
Vibe coded 60% of that😂
Wrote the code for the Terminal feature myself.
Right now, I’m still adding more ideas and making it secure small small (I no wan see any wahala because of vibes coding).
Some employers might not like it.
But that’s okay.
Dem no even be my target.
I’m building it because I genuinely enjoy stuff like this.
Because I like when tech gets personality.
Because sometimes the best things come from curiosity, passion, and just saying “abeg make I try something different.”
Would you people like me to open-source it when I’m done so others can use it too?
Also, drop ideas for features I should add.
I want this to feel like an experience, not just a website.
I am also building an open-source product for my company called StageSygnal. Will be ready soon so all of us can use it and even add features to it since it will be open source.
A Nigerian software engineer and a German software engineer push the same code to production tonight.
Same stack. Same PR review. Same 2am.
One of them earns €7,000/month with free healthcare, job protection laws, and a pension that kicks in at 30.
The other earns ₦600,000 and just spent ₦47,000 on generator fuel this month alone.
We need to talk about this.
Did you know AI agents could still be valuable for small businesses and non-technical users by automating routine tasks?
