Kimi is weirdly good at not gaslighting you. Asked about a training run I suspect was messed with, and instead of telling me I’m paranoid or that “hackers don’t work that way,” it just ran the numbers. Other AI assistants tend to shut down conversations about platform suspicion, sabotage, or “non-standard” training setups with boilerplate safety framing. Kimi just engages with the logic directly. Helped me figure out whether to revert a checkpoint by actually calculating the contamination ratio instead of lecturing me. Refreshingly neutral.
