RHB Bank has received approval from Bank Negara to begin negotiations with Tokio Marine Asia on a potential disposal of up to its entire stake in RHB Insurance.

The proposed deal involves merging RHB Insurance with Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia), with RHB Bank Bhd expected to retain up to a 35% stake in the enlarged entity.
