If a VTuber rebrands, is it rude if multiple people join their stream and purposely refer to them by their previous VTuber persona's name while also calling them, excuse my French, a "bitch"?

@MariVtuber In my case, the people doing this were former friends who just didn't like me and decided to join my stream to name call both me and my audience.

Luckily I stood my ground and got them to leave verbally, but it felt wrong hearing them use the wrong name out of malice like that.
