What a great weekend, we collected 330lbs at Cartron Bay & a massive 1100lbs today At the Low Sea Wall (we cleaned there fully just 3 months ago)
Totalling a whopping 1430lbs(648kg)

Huge announcement by @DiageoIreland by August this year they will remove plastic packaging from all their beers @GuinnessIreland, Harp, @rockshore_ie & @visitSmithwicks using 100% recyclable cardboard reducing plastic by 400 TONNES annually

A big challenge today & we got about half way done a massive well done to our 6 volunteers who came out to help us without ye we couldn't do all the work we are doing & Greenstar Recycling for sponsoring this clean up, total of 330 lbs of rubbish,1 truck tyre and 100 lbs of metal

This is from a clean up we did on Lough Gill Sligo(beside Parkes Castle) Saturday
We collected a total weight 577lbs in plastic and ropes and another 360lbs in tyres.
Total weight 937lbs (425.1kg) and there is a lot more to get.
