#DeathBattle as such as I disagree with Goku VS Saitama happening still, I think the crew are in their right to be capable of doing matchups they wanna do out of passion and fun even if not everyone's gonna be on board. Minus the Doomposters, I personally expect it to be great.

@viking_gumball Already had an issue with how overused retirners are and doubling up on series multiple times a year prior... now this is the breaking point. Generally a complete waste imo.

I dont like comparing this but dammit man... losing such icons as Dolly Parton and Tim Curry in the span of two days is just outright upsetting. These two were big parts of my families childhood and I admired them in movies, music, and especially their life's, R.I.P. 💔

I sincerely hope its true not only cause she was an amazing choice, but it also hopefully gives them a chance to redeem her character in live action cause New Mutants really did Magik dirty. Also would be a good call given the characters popularity, Las make it happen!

I think the franchise problem is how they're almost hardly any returning series that actually deserve to come back or ones that have yet to be on minus a few exceptions. Returners I also dont want gone, but very much less of them, this year has reached a serviceable limit.

Prfectly explains the same issue ive had with Death Battle. I wouldn't be as agitated if we didn't have ChiefSlayer last year, nor if we didn't have metal sonic already, and if shadow wasn't a 4th returner. Next year really gotta do better with franchise/character distribution.

I had a bit of a tangent about this because I think the disdain about them doing Mewtwo VS Shadow is actually the result of Death Battle having several other issues in the background.

It's a criticism that I think deserves a conversation, but it requires nuance and maturity

Three MHA episodes in the span of a year and CSM in three months which used their biggest reps for a while, two sonic episodes where the anslysis aren't gonna be as different... i mean even marvel was an issue last year. This and BakuReze are the two most uncalled for this year.

#DeathBattle Will have some thoughts on Kai vs Tahu later but for now.... Ugh am i not at all excited for Shadow vs Mewtwo. We just had a rematch last year, we just had Metal Sonic, and Shadow did not warrant getting a 4th episode. I hope its still good but man am i annoyed.

#DeathBattle Still boggles my mind that were in the now in that #Ninjago and #Bionicle are on the show, even in the independent era. I mean Bionicle alone which hasn't had stuff in years now makes so many other niche or non-relevant series possible. So excited to see this! 🔥

This is heavily upsetting, 2xko was a game I really enjoyed and for it not be able to be continuing anymore after being in development for years just really upsets me. I should've seen it coming given the layoffs and engagement, but now facing a harsh reality like this is sad. 😔
